1 Corinthians 1:4-9 (ESV) – “I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge— even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you—so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Celebrating Thanksgiving once a year is not the only time we should pay tribute to our Lord and Savior. Giving the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit daily thanksgiving for every one of Christ’s Ambassadors and Disciples should be a natural occurrence. Jesus took our sins away when he died on the cross and we should be thankful forever.
As we gather on Thanksgiving with friends, family, co-workers, etc., be sure to thank God for everything in your life whether you think it has been good or bad. James 1:2-4 states, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing” (ESV). Ask the people in your gathering if they would like to share something they are thankful for as a testimony of something Jesus has done in their life. God bless and Happy Thanksgiving!!!
