Times of Trouble

AFCRadioShawn-160-241-03112013Good Day and God Bless Disciples and Ambassadors for Christ Jesus.

Does it seem that no matter what you do it is not pleasing to God?

Sometimes we may think we are doing exactly what our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ will is for us but then trouble comes our way. We fight and we work hard to please God and we see the light at the end of the tunnel and as soon as we feel we are coming out of the tunnel, darkness creeps back in pushing the light even further.

We need to remain calm in these situations and look not to our own strength.

Proverbs 19:11, “Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.”

Lamentations 3:31-32, “For the Lord will not cast off forever, but, though he cause grief, he will have compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love;”

During these times let us not get angry at the LORD because of our grief but remember that we are being refined in the fire for His glory. Remember what our prize is at the end of the process and it will be His Word that will give us the strength.

Psalm 119:28, “My soul melts away for sorrow; strengthen me according to your word!”

Even when it seems that nothing is going right in your life at the moment, God wants us to continue to look towards Him for our strength. We must always remember to rejoice in the LORD and remember His sacrifices for our Salvation. Let us have patience and wait on Him to show up and show off when we least expect it.

Habakkuk 3:17-18, “Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.”

Isaiah 33:2, “O LORD, be gracious to us; we wait for you. Be our arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble.”

Jesus Loves You!
Amen
