Christians Live by Faith and Conquers Worldly Sin

AFCRadioShawn-160-241-03112013Good Day and God Bless Disciples and Ambassadors for Christ Jesus.

As a true Christian we are not ashamed of talking about our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ in any situation. When we are sitting at a table, and we might be the only Christian at that table of eight or ten, do the rest of the people at that table see you as different or as one of them?

When we come to Christ and repent of our sins, ask for forgiveness and forgive others, and show faith in His Word that He died for our sins, we are Baptized with and receive His Holy Spirit. We are then set apart as Holy, Born Again, and seen righteous in the eyes of the Father, but are we truly displaying that outwardly towards others or are we ashamed to admit the new changes in our life?

Romans 1:16-17, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, ‘The righteous shall live by faith.’”

After coming to Christ, God will shape and mold us. He will do it with discipline but more so with love. The length of time we remain in the fire to be refined depends on how long it takes for us to let go of the need to satisfy our flesh and our worldly nature. It will take an action on our part not to fight with God to change and we must approach His door that is closed to everyone that has not received the Holy Spirit with purity. Let us hear what the Word of God is saying to us but we can only hear when we read the Holy Bible.

Revelations 3:19-22, “Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

Jesus loves you!!!
