Seeking Christ or Seeking Mammon? AFCRadioShawn-160-241-03112013

Good Day and God Bless Disciples and Ambassadors of Christ Jesus.

During the “Sermon on the Mount,” which many call it, Jesus was giving us great insight to how we are to live our lives with love and return from our sinful ways to the original creation God created us to be. Christ wanted us to look into our hearts and see what it was truly desiring. If our heart is set on the desires of the world, then we must come to His feet, ask forgiveness, and repent of our ways. He wanted our hearts to be set upon Him and His ways.

Matthew 6:21, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Instead of our hearts being set to gain the riches of this world, let them be set on the regeneration of our mind, body and soul. We are a broken people but God, Jehovah (YaHWeH) Rapha can heal and will heal if it is His will to do so but we must ask. When Christ blesses us, let us rise up and walk but not return to our sinful ways, walk in His ways.

Acts 3:6, “But Peter said, ‘I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!’”

Let us not forget from whence we came and remember that everything we have belongs to God. Even if it was the enemy that gave you your riches, fame, and/or prosperity, it is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, that can take it away at any moment without notice.

1 Samuel 2:6-7, “The LORD kills and brings to life; He brings down to Sheol and raises up. The LORD makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and He exalts.

Revelation 3:17, “For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.

Remember that Jesus Loves YOU!!!
