Praise His Name

Psalm 149-3 “Praise his name with dancing, accompanied by tambourine and harp” (NLT).

Our purpose on earth is to exalt and praise our Lord’s Holy Name by making Disciples in all nations. The Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 states “Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (NLT). Amen, I especially like that fact Jesus states in the last verse “I am with you always, even to the end of the age”

Praise the Lord! Praise His Name! Praise God and say Hallelujah!

Psalm 149:1-9 reads, “Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the godly! Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King! Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre! For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation. Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands, to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples, to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron, to execute on them the judgment written! This is honor for all his godly ones. Praise the LORD!” (ESV) Amen! Praise His Name!

Jesus is the Bread of Life and we will be fed forever because of His sacrifice on the cross. John 6:35 states, “Jesus said to them, ‘I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst’” (ESV). If you are hungry, ask Jesus to come feed you. You must ask Jesus to come into your life and take control.

If you have never asked Jesus to come into your life to save you from your sins, you must do three things in prayer.
(1) Ask Jesus for forgiveness of your sins. (2) Ask Jesus to save you. (3) And Give Jesus complete control of your life. Right now, if you want Jesus to take control over your life, repeat this prayer and truly believe as you confess your sins in this prayer.

Dear Father, I now believe that Jesus Christ is Your only begotten Son, that He came down to our earth in the flesh and died on the cross to take away all of my sins and the sins of this world. I believe that Jesus Christ then rose from the dead on the third day to give all of us eternal life.

Lord Jesus, I now confess to You all of the wrong and sinful things that I have ever done in my life. I ask that You please forgive me and wash away all of my sins by the blood that You have personally shed for me on the cross. I am now ready to accept You as my personal Lord and Savior. I now ask that You come into my life and live with me for all of eternity.

Father God – I now believe that I am truly saved and born again.

Thank You Father. Thank You Jesus.

If you truly believed in what you said, God has now taken control of your life and you need to listen to His instructions, His will for your life. You are now a new creation and have been born again with The Holy Spirit operating in your life to help you do God’s will. Just as Psalm 145:17, 18 states, “The Lord is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” (ESV) We must have faith that God will do exactly as He says.

If we turn away from God, He will destroy us. In Ezekiel chapter 20, we learn that God will do what He says even to His chosen ones. When Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt on a week trip, they turned away from God’s ways very quickly so he led them astray in the wilderness for 40 years. During this reign, some still did not fear God as they should have.

God just wants us to love Him and give Him our hearts completely. If we do that then He will provide for us all that we need forever and ever. To fear the Lord is not to run from Him because He loves us. It is to run to Him and ask Him to forgive you for your sins, save you from the natural feelings and idolatry’s of the world, and knowing that if you do not, Jesus Christ will not write your name in His Book of Life.

If we want everlasting life and live in the mansions God promised us, then we must be washed with the blood of Jesus and made clean. Revelation 21:27 states, “But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life” (ESV). And 1 John 1:7 reads, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin” (ESV).

Therefore we implore you to do as Psalm 145:21 states, “My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever” (ESV). Put God first and foremost in all your actions. Do not grow weary in hard times, but turn to Him so he can put you on solid ground. Amen, in the Name of Jesus.
Keep God first, pursue His will, and He will lead the way. Praise the Lord!!!
