Just and Right

AFCRadioShawn-160-241-03112013Good Day and God Bless Disciples and Ambassadors for Christ Jesus.

When we have faith, true faith, in our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, we do not or should not care what man thinks about our actions. We cannot worry and wonder if we are pleasing our friends, family, or co-workers in the things we do for God. If God puts into our hearts to say something or to take action and do something, if we worry about what someone will think of us then we are not putting out trust and faith in God but in man.

When Peter and John were brought before the Sanhedrin, which is the elders and teachers of Jerusalem, they were questioned about preaching and teaching the people about Jesus and the resurrection of the dead. They tried to order Peter and John that they could no longer preach and teach this way.

Acts 4:19-20, “But Peter and John answered them, ‘”Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge, for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.”’

When we follow God we are not only giving Him the ultimate honor only He deserves but we are acting justly and righteously. However, when we do not obey His commands we are shunning God and letting Him know that He does not have our full heart. We must always act in God’s will being just and righteous.

Amos 5:24, “But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.”

It is our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ that gave up His life so that we could have freedom in Him to proclaim His greatness, to proclaim His holiness, and to proclaim His perfection. We need to continue to look towards Him and not towards the ways of man, the ways of the world, the ways of the enemy.

Hebrews 12:2, “looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”
