Forgiving as God Forgives

Ambassadors for Christ Radio :: Liner Notes

Forgiving as God Forgives

Proverbs 13:17 NIV “A wicked messenger falls into trouble, but a trustworthy envoy brings healing.”

1 Corinthians 14:33 NIV “For God is not a God of disorder, but of peace –as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.”

On this version of Ambassadors for Christ Radio, we discuss forgiving each other and forgetting our sins. Do we really forgive each other and bury all sins? Or do we let it harvest to be used as a future weapon? Our Lord states “I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more” (Hebrews 8:12, NIV). How do we measure up to His covenant?

We pray that you will join us and allow our Lord to minister to your heart and may the topic bless you as you fellowship with us on Ambassadors for Christ With God’s love, we can accomplish anything through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Allow God to be our focus of attention as He leads the way.

    Caroline and Shawn,

I’m so pleased to hear this broadcast! It is relevant to something I am experiencing. Thank you for your revelation and insight. What I have come to understand; we are instructed to “forgive 70×7” because Jesus understood that forgiveness is a process and takes time to reach the heart and spirit of the one offended. It cannot be done just by saying words to someone and expecting them to experience immediate forgiveness. We must allow it to work through the hurt and pain to the healing of the spirit. However, the offended one must also be open and receptive to healing and not cling to the pain.

I thank God for you and will be praying long lasting success for your ministry.

    Amor y Bendiciones,
