The Fruit of the Spirit // El Fruto del Espíritu

FruitOfTheSpirit-Cover-163-261-10212014The Fruit of the Spirit // El Fruto del Espíritu

The purpose of the book The Fruit of the Spirit // El Fruto del Espíritu is to bring the love of God to children in a more understandable way using a child’s perspective. Explaining our Lord’s Fruit of the Spirit and providing practical examples shows children how they can keep glorifying God. Daily activities that the young ones can apply to their everyday lives as written in the Holy Bible can be used to mentor each other during difficult situations.

The book addresses each Fruit of the Spirit and shares how children can continue to showcase each Fruit and follow Jesus. The Fruit of the Spirit reminds children that they have the strength in Jesus Christ to do anything! A child will remember that he or she is very important in the Kingdom of God and that they are never alone.

JOY :: ALEGRÍA

JOY

What does JOY mean to you?

Well, to me JOY is to be happy with what you have. Some kids just want more and more and more. I think that the parents who give their child whatever they want, when they want, and how they want it are spoiling their kids. The kids who just want more, they’re not happy or JOYFUL for what they have. They don’t stop to reflect to say “THANK YOU GOD for what you’ve given me,” they don’t say that at all! All they say is “I want more, I want more, I want this and that”, but they have to think about the other kids who barely have a roof that can protect them. Other children barely have anything to eat but guess they still are JOYFUL for what they still have in their house. But most of us kids just want more and more things. Just because my friend might have a Play Station Vita video game, does not mean that I need one too.

I’ll give you a tip: just be JOYFUL in our Lord and maybe, just maybe, you’ll get what you want.

This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be happy today!” (Psalm 118:24, ERV).

(Salmos 118:24, NTV).

LOVE What does it mean? :: AMOR ¿Qué significa?

LOVE

What does LOVE mean to you?

Now, it isn’t the kind of love like having a boyfriend or a girlfriend. LOVE is the kind of love that GOD told us to have for other people. In Panama International Church, the Sunday school teacher taught us the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). The fruit for LOVE was for us to put others first. This means you should help other people, so help your parents, friends, teachers, etc. You can even help a homeless person, you can help the rich, the poor, or you can also help yourself. You can help GOD and JESUS just by being a good boy or girl. A challenge for you is to comment on how you loved somebody throughout the week following God’s example.

AMOR

Noah and the Ark :: Noé y el Arca

Noah and the Ark

GOD commanded Noah to build an ark and HE told Noah how to build it. In other words, God gave him instructions. Noah was an old man, if you didn’t know, and he was doing all kinds of stuff at that age and we should be doing things like that. But, we say are tired or I’m too lazy to do it, but look at Noah. He should be the one saying I’m tired or I’m lazy, not us.

Noah built the Ark then GOD commanded him to get two animals from different species. Wow! I hope he is alright with the lions and tigers. Later, God flooded the earth with water and even the highest mountain was covered with water. Then, Noah sent a dove or a bird to find land for them, but one of the persons that were there was thinking negative or saying what if we die, what if we drowned. Noah said don’t worry GOD will save us. The dove came back, it didn’t find any land. The next day Noah sent the bird again to find land and this dove found land. When they got to the land they saw a rainbow and GOD said that this is His signal that He will not flood the earth again (Genesis 9:11).

See how Noah went through all those things and we say that walking from our room to the table is too far. Sometimes others will ask you to please get the remote. We might say it’s too far that’s why a lot of people are lazy in our world. So let us try not to sin, if you didn’t know, the Bible says to work hard and not to be lazy (Romans 12:11). I have a challenge for you. Don’t be lazy for a week and at the end of the week communicate with me at www.AmbassadorsforChrist.com and tell me how it went.

Strength :: Fuerza

Strength

Our theme will be coming from Philippians 4:13, that I can do all this in the midst of Him who gives me strength. That means that you can do anything because God gives you strength. So, you could be the President or you also could be the best person at your school who behaves well. I am just basically saying that you can do anything. No matter how big that the task is, if you are trying to save the world, or if you want to try to behave yourself.

Remember that you can do whatever you want, but I’m not saying that you cannot respect your parents or your elders. Only be a good person and follow the path of God.

Fuerza
