Are you a Witness or being Witnessed?

Are you a Witness or being Witnessed?

AFCRadioShawn-160-241-03112013Good Day and God Bless Disciples and Ambassadors for Christ Jesus.

While we are here on Earth, we have many things to distract us from the will of the Father. It is easier for us to conform to the things of the world because we will get praised for it.

Many times we choose the easy route because it may make us feel good and it may make others feel good giving us happiness and joy of the world. However, God did not call us to take the easy route nor did He ever say that the route He has planned for us would be easy. What He did say is that if we follow Him that at the end of the race we will have love, peace, joy, and everlasting life.

Matthew 7:13-14, “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”

Let us start today to stop choosing the easy route for temporary joy by choosing the wide gate but search and seek out the way to the narrow the gate. We have wide gates all around us; to the left there is a wide gate; to the right there is another wide gate; to the back we yet have another wide gate; but in front of us, right before us, stands Christ with open arms with a narrow gate.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20, “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”

Let us see what is directly in front of us and be Witnesses, Disciples, and Ambassadors for Christ by choosing life over death, choosing to be a witness and not witnessed against. Let us teach this to our children so they too can receive the promise God to our ancestors as an inheritance.

James 1:12, “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.”

Mark 12:30, “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”

Yes, we will go through many test and trying times, but it is what we do during the trials and tribulations. Do we stand on the Rock, the Solid Rock, or do we jump off because it is seemingly too hard? When you jump off Christ our Rock, you jump back to the Earth, a world of sin. Hold on tight to His promises, His Word, and His Love, and He will ensure you have the strength to stand on Him.

Jesus Loves You!
