Wisdom for Spiritual Garden

Colossians 1:10 – “Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better” (NLT).

Proverbs 3:9 – “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops” (NIV).

Thanksgiving Wisdom

We thank God for another year; the old is gone and the new is here. We thank God for giving us this opportunity to do His will for our lives and protecting us through our personal processes. We all thank God for everything He has given all of His children, and the blessings we have yet to receive as we look forward, God willing, to another blessed year, in the name of Jesus!

Lord’s Wisdom

God knows it all as He created everything on earth including instructions in the Holy Bible for us to adhere to. As we cultivate our Spiritual garden, we must engage in Pulling Weeds, Planting Seeds and learn from His wisdom and trust our Lord with all our heart and soul. As our Spiritual leader, our Lord is the Smartest One of all of us and in following His will, glorifying Him; He remains in control of our journey. Proverbs 3:9 states “honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops” (NIV). Paying tribute to our God requires us to acknowledge Him First and pay tribute to Him. He does not need our assets, as everything on earth already belongs to Him (Psalm 24:1). The choices we make, good or bad is a reflection of us. Make wise choices in our daily lives that are pleasing to God. “Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better” (Colossians 1:10 NLT). God provides us with clear instructions for our actions on earth to facilitate our journey to His Heavenly Kingdom. Leaning on Him to provide His infinite wisdom and not our personal opinions on how to achieve a goal is important to follow His will on earth. God will give us the WISDOM to cultivate, nurture, and Pull Weeds, Plant Seeds to increase our Spiritual growth. We should use our Lord’s Wisdom that He provides for growing our Spiritual garden.

Garden Warfare

God knows what we need even before we ask for anything. Through our prayers and spending time with Him, we can receive discernment and the knowledge to protect our Spiritual garden and ensure it receives the proper nutrition so that we can grow with it. We can defeat enemy attacks! As we follow the Great Commission Jesus gave us to GO and make Disciples in Matthew 28:18-20, we must ensure we are doing it with love and God will be with us to protect us. Keeping our Lord first, using His Wisdom, to grow our Spiritual garden allows us to keep it replenished with the proper fruits of the Spirit, and we can accomplish anything with the Lord on our side. To ensure we have our Lord’s Wisdom operating in us as we cultivate our Spiritual garden we must listen to His instruction to protect it. Ask Him what does our garden need for us to reflect the same unconditional love that He has for us? In our lives, we should apply the same unconditional love that led Him to sacrifice His only Son to save us (John 3:16). That is A LOT of love! This sacrificial act that our Lord made, cleanses us from our sins. “As your seeds begin to sprout, honor Jehovah for the blessing. Seek discernment and continuous knowledge in ensuring the growth is pleasing to the eyes of the Lord. “Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops” (Proverbs 3:9).

We must continue to honor our Lord with all the first fruits of all that He blesses us with. Obeying God and honoring Him, will lead the way to a successful harvest. Proverbs 3 informs us that we should trust in the Lord, listen to His instructions, be loyal, and depend on God. If we do these things He will provide us with a good reputation and a satisfying life for many years. Ask Him for guidance, do not outsmart ourselves but fear Him by turning our backs on evil. If we follow this He will provide healing for our bodies. If we give Him the first fruit (an example is tithes or 10% of income) He will fill our barns with supplies. As God’s children, we should accept His discipline and correction because He loves us. The Lord’s wisdom is more precious than anything we compare it to. Embracing and operating with our Lord’s wisdom provides long life, honor, satisfaction, happiness that only our Founder can provide. The Lord’s discernment will prevent us from stumbling, falling, while providing us with restful sleep. The Lord secures us. Share resources with others, do not plan evil things against other people, and do not bully each other. Do not envy violence or follow it because God detests that but is friendly to those who seek and accomplish good acts. He curses wickedness, mockers, fools, and blesses justice, godly, humble, people, and honors the wise. We should walk with God, learn from His wisdom and grow closer to Him daily. There is no one more powerful or wiser than our Lord!  Reflecting upon how to cultivate our garden using our Lord’s wisdom, with patience and perseverance we will be successful.

Thank God

Our Lord is GREAT and deserves all the glory and honor as we not only listen but apply His instruction. God is really GREAT! The New Year is upon us! Whatever plans you have in mind, seek God first, seek His infinite wisdom, take care of yourself, loved ones and have a blessed year! We provide thanksgiving for our Creator as He created everything under the heavens and the earth. God loves us! As we embark on another year filled with trials, tribulations, blessings, and riches in Christ Jesus, let us remain standing on the word of God to ward off attacks and benefit from His blessings. Pull Weeds, Plant Seeds, and Praise the Lord!

Spiritual Garden Protection

Exodus 23:25 – “You shall serve the Lord your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you” (ESV).
Genesis 22:17 – “I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his[d] enemies.” (ESV).

In continuing with our theme Pulling Weeds, Planting Seeds and what it takes to ensure that you are an Ambassador and Disciple of Jesus Christ by for maintaining our Spiritual gardens; this article address Spiritual Garden Protection. Exodus chapter 23 verses 20-33 shows us how God will help us protect our Spiritual Gardens and ensure that every single thing in it glorifies Him.

God will protect us if we turn to Him and seek His protection. He can remove illnesses from us as His word states.

God knows what we need even before we ask for anything. Through our prayers and spending time with Him, we can receive discernment and the knowledge to protect our spiritual garden and ensure it receives the proper nutrition so that we can grow with it. As we follow the Great Commission Jesus gave us to GO and make Disciples in Matthew 28:19-20, we must ensure we are doing it with love and God will be with us to protect us. Keeping our Spiritual garden filled with the proper fruits of the Spirit, we can accomplish anything with the Lord on our side.

To ensure we have Spiritual Garden Protection, we must plant good seeds. What are good seeds and bad seeds? If we look at Galatians chapter 5 verses 22-23, the fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Take control of yourself in a situation and make right decisions in the eyes of our Lord. Taking self-control denies the enemy power over you as we make the right choice to follow God’s instructions.

Spiritual Garden Protection

Exodus 23: 20-33

This article focuses on Exodus 23 verses 20 – 33; how God helps us with our Spiritual Garden Protection. Proverbs 15:2 tells how a wise man uses the tongue with knowledge but a fool spills out foolishness. We must protect family and ourselves from the foolishness that people may speak. We must continue to protect our children from those whose mouths let out unclean words, unclean actions, and even the wolves in sheep clothing. Be obedient to God’s Word and will for our lives.

Enemies

If we obey God, he will send His angels in front of us to prepare the way. Always listen to His voice and obey Him. If we obey Jesus, He will lead the way we are to go. Do not be against God because we know if God is with us, then no one can be against (Romans 8:31). God wants us carefully to obey His voice so He can fight our battles when we need him. God will be an enemy to our enemies and friendly to our friends and He will lead the way with His angels slashing down all our enemies in front of us so that none can pursue after we pass by. Do not serve their gods, do not act the way they act, and God will break the foundations they have set themselves on. Deuteronomy 32:22 states, “For a fire is kindled by my anger, and it burns to the depths of Sheol, devours the earth and its increase, and sets on fire the foundations of the mountains” (ESV).

Sickness

It does not matter your mental or physical state, God can remove sickness and restore health if ask Him to. God will bless everything you eat and drink to keep you safe. We pray and thank Jesus for everything we put into our bodies every day and every time. Even pray and thank Him for the coffee, tea, milk, juice, water, etc. you have in the morning and throughout the day.

Good Fruits

When we are doing God’s will, we will be fruitful and multiply because He has blessed us. Genesis 22:17 states, “I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies” (ESV). Minister Caroline Savage stated, to be the “honorable farmer, worship daily, remaining in tune with God’s will, faithfully planting, walking, and ministering to Jehovah’s seeds” (Uncertainty and Reasoning Page 27).

Victory and Glory

God will use everything in His arsenal ensure we are victorious and that He gets all the glory. God will use terror, confusion, hornets, and make our “enemies turn their backs to you.” His power and might will shine through on you. Your enemy will look at you and see Christ leading you by the hand and run as fast as they can. No man will be able to say that they did this or that; God must get all the credit for delivering your victory to you from your enemy. He will do it slowly, Little by little right before your eyes so the land will remain good soil for you plant your seeds. Reflecting upon our Spiritual garden, opposing forces will arise and try to damage the good fruits you are sewing. Standing still on the word of God, we know that victory is ours and He will protect our actions and bring others to justice. Seek God’s face, do His will, and Protect your Spiritual garden.

Protection

Not only will he drive them out slowly as the continue to work the land for you, once he drives them out God will set up a border so they can never return, as long as you follow His voice in obedience and not make a covenant with them. A covenant is like a contract and normally made between friends. We know they are enemy because God will pluck that weed from our garden and will protect it with His Holy Spirit not allowing them to return if we stay obedient. The only way your enemy or weed can reenter your garden once God has removed it, is if you forsake God and forget to continue to give Him all the honor and glory. To protect God’s spiritual garden, follow Him and not worry about distractors, God will help us Pull the weeds that our enemies have planted.

Do not let God be a snare to you! Do not sin against God; do not worship other gods because there is only one God. Hallelujah! Give Him thanks and sing Songs of Praises while you are attending to His garden. Our body is His and we must protect it.

Blessings

God is going to bless us if we follow His voice and give Him the honor of everything in our lives. Proverbs 3:9-10 states, “Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the first fruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine” (ESV). When God blesses us, and our good seed that Jesus has planted start to sprout, it is our obligation to protect the fruits. We must give our first fruits to God, which are our tithes and offerings. If we obey Him by honoring His words, Malachi 3:10 says that God will open the floodgates of heaven and give us so many blessings that we will want for nothing. We should bless Him with tithes and offerings.

Discernment

Others ways to protect our Spiritual Garden is to avoid advice that may not be biblical. Jesus said many false prophets will come in His Name and many out there are misinterpreting the Bible so that is why it is so important to seek God’s understanding. Proverbs 3:5 tells us to, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” (ESV) Too many are trying to read the Bible and receive discernment without the Holy Spirit. It is only with the Holy Spirit operating in you that will reveal the secrets within God’s Word. We must pray and ask Jesus to give us the discernment of the Scriptures. We must listen to the sermons in church because God raised the ministers to help us understand as we are maturing spiritually.

Thanksgiving

We provide thanksgiving for our Creator as He created everything under the heavens and the earth. He gives us instructions on how to cultivate our Spiritual garden and seek His face as we emulate His ways. God loves us! His love is deeper than the seas. Our Spiritual garden should reflect the beauty of the rainbow as that is the covenant He established with us in Genesis. Praise the Lord! Keep God first in your life and continue to engage in eternal Thanksgiving to our Lord. We thank you Heavenly Father, we give you all the praise, honor, and glory; Blessings in the name of Jesus!

Fruit from Good Seed

Galatians 5:22-23 – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. (ESV)

Matthew 13:38-39 – The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. (ESV)

Every day we should try to PLUCK something from our Spiritual Garden that is not part of God’s will for us. If we put the seeds in good soil then it should grow good fruit and that will make us happy. We should all try to use good soil when planting seeds, which will make our Heavenly Father happy. Continuing in the daily process of Pulling Weeds, Planting Seeds will help in making you an Ambassador and Disciple of Jesus Christ by monitoring your Spiritual garden and allow Fruit from Good Seeds to flourish.

When we pray, many times we are asking God to have mercy on a family member, another, or us. In taking care of our Spiritual gardens, we need to ensure what we are cultivating is a reflection of God’s divine creation. We should give thanks to God for allowing us to be stewards of His garden He left us responsible. Everything on earth belongs to God, every single thing. We should be grateful and thankful for Him for loving us so much to provide for us.

One of the ways we can show gratitude is to cultivate, nurture, and replenish our garden with fruits of the Spirit as cited in Galatians 5:22-23. The Fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We have used this Scripture a few times to reemphasize what Fruits Good Seed will bear in our Spiritual Garden. Bad seeds will bear weeds and/or bad fruits we call sin. When someone tries to plant a bad seed in you, rebuke them and tell them what the Scriptures say.

We must protect our Spiritual gardens the same way we protect our earthly possessions but even more so. God is always watching us from Heaven; He sees and hears everything. We clean our homes, our cars, even pull weeds out of gardens, and wash our clothes adding fragrances to everything. In our nature gardens, here on Earth, we even add chemicals to prevent weeds from growing. God has given us a Spiritual chemical to protect our Spiritual garden from those trying to plant bad seeds, God’s Word, the Holy Bible.

When Satan tried to plant bad seeds in Jesus during the 40 days, the Spirit took Him into the wilderness; Jesus used God’s Words to rebuke Satan not allowing the temptations to prosper. In our flesh it is impossible but not with God. In Matthew 19:26 Jesus reminds us of this when talking about how hard it is for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God; “But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (ESV).

God’s Word instructs us how to live; it is His Will for our lives. Why are we so quick to spray all kinds of chemicals on the things we are going to put into our bodies just to ensure weeds will not grow, but not willing to read and study the Holy Bible so we can be armed to rebuke Satan and his army? In Caroline’s book Uncertainties and Reasoning on page 26, she wrote, “Challenges will threaten the garden, try to lead you astray, and poison the planted seeds. Standing firm, being the good gardener, allows one to nurture seeds by faith, speaking words of wisdom through guidance from our Father in Heaven.” Protect your Spiritual garden with even more fervency. The only way to do it is by reading God’s Word and having the Holy Spirit in you to help you recall His Word. You may think you planted good seed and that it will bear good fruit but the enemy is ever watching for a way to plant bad seeds.

In Matthew 13:24-30 Jesus informs us in the Parable of the Weeds, which is about entering the Kingdom of Heaven and how our enemy will plant bad seeds that will grow up with the good seed. The seeds the enemy plant will not show until the good seed is bearing good fruit and cannot be uprooted right away. We need always be on watch when our enemy is trying to plant a bad seed in our Spiritual garden because it may lay dormant for many years.

Through our prayers, we glorify God telling Him that we have faith in knowing He will answer our prayers. God knows what we need even before we ask for anything. Through our prayers and spending time with Him, we can receive discernment and the knowledge to protect our Spiritual garden and ensure it receives the proper nutrition so that we can grow with it. As we follow, the Great Commission Jesus gave us to GO and make Disciples in Matthew 28:19-20, we must ensure we are doing it with love and God will be with us to protect us. Keeping our Spiritual garden filled with the proper fruits of the Spirit, we can accomplish anything with the Lord on our side.

To ensure we are bearing good Fruit, we must plant good seeds. What are good seeds and bad seeds? If we look once again at Galatians chapter five verses 16-26, the fruits of the Spirit are the good seeds, love, joy, peace, etc. to bear good fruit. Bad seeds are listed in verses 19-21, idolatry, fits of anger, etc., and more in verse 26, of being “conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. When you plant a good seed, it needs to be cared for and fed in the same manner you take care of your child and feed your child. Spiritual fulfillment is necessary to remain in alignment with God.

Earlier I used a quote from Uncertainties and Reasoning on page 26 and Scripture from Matthew 13 about the Parable of the Weeds. The parable demonstrates how an enemy will come into your garden and plant bad seeds along with your good seeds. Minister Caroline used the bible verse, Matthew 13:38-39 that reads, “The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels” (ESV). This verse explains what is meant by that parable Jesus used. Listen to God an PLUCK the weeds from your life as He instructs.

We also discuss how we can ensure we remain in alignment with God’s will to fulfill our assignment of making Christian disciples one step at a time. Our Spiritual garden should reflect the humility of Jesus Christ as we move forward accomplishing Our Father’s purpose in our lives. Regardless of the Spiritual warfare and battles we engage in, we should stand firm on the Word of God. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law” (Galatians 5:22-23, ESV). Protecting our Spiritual garden, dressed in our Armor of God, is also important as we need the necessary Fruits of the Spirit to conquer battles in the name of Jesus.

Spiritual Rain

Deuteronomy 32:2, “Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants” (NIV).

Proverbs 15:2, “The tongue of the wise makes knowledge appealing, but the mouth of a fool belches out foolishness” (NLT).

Heavenly Rain

Tending to our Spiritual garden we must be aware of the process of Pulling Weeds, Planting Seeds to ensure that as Ambassadors for Jesus Christ, we monitor our Spiritual garden in accordance to our Lord’s will. Effectively following the Christian Discipleship process as specified in Matthew 28:18-20, the Great Commission, one should embrace God’s purpose for us on earth and fulfill our task. As we engage in making disciples, we must keep God first and be faithful to Him as He is to us. Removing prejudices, biases, and upholding His Word all for His glory allows our Lord to bless us with heavenly showers according to His will.

One of the ways we can show gratitude to our heavenly Father is to cultivate, nurture, and replenish our garden with the Fruits of the Spirit which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control as cited in Galatians 5:22-23. Those Fruits of the Spirit are key ingredients we should grow in our Spiritual garden. Possessing these Spiritual fruits and showcasing them every day in daily activities and behavior is pleasing to the Lord. We should take care of our Spiritual garden with pride! The same way one may keep their car clean or buy all the sharp clothes to be seen by humans, we need to clean our Spiritual garden so God can appreciate it.

Spiritual Watch

God is above humans and definitely watching us! God sees all and hears all. In taking care of God’s property we have to seek His permission on the best manner to proceed with the project. Building and tending to our Spiritual garden will occur with many trials and tribulations. Believing that God’s plan and will is going to prevail, we can confidently continue to grow those fruits that He commanded us to. As our Lord is on our side, He is watchful of our enemies. “Rejoice with him, O heavens; bow down to him, all gods, for he avenges the blood of his children and takes vengeance on his adversaries. He repays those who hate him and cleanses his people’s land (Deuteronomy 32: 43, ESV). Focusing on doing God’s will, trusting in Him, prostrating ourselves at His feet, He will take care of us. Under His watchful guidance and protection, we can continue to grow the Spiritual fruits that are pleasing to His eyes. He will avenge His children and clean our gardens as long as we allow Him to.

Spiritual Warfare

Whenever one is tending to their Spiritual garden, trying to do nice things, or be obedient in the Lord, dark forces rise up don’t they? Things come out of the woodwork to stop your progress or situations just appear to derail you. It does not have to be strangers, it could be loved ones. Just know that our Father is greater than all those things, situations, negative comments, and we can use His word to polish things back into perspective. In my book ¿Uncertainties? And Reasoning (2011), I offer the following “The same concept applies to taking care of your spiritual garden. You may encounter someone spewing contradictory beliefs, or spitting vile thoughts on your prized property. Regardless of who the individual is, protection of your garden deserves your immediate attention, mental, and spiritual reaction” (p. 25).  According to Proverbs 15:2, “The tongue of the wise uses knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools pours out foolishness” (KJV). One has to be ready to protect their Spiritual garden properly. In taking care of the Spiritual garden, cultivating the Fruits of the Spirit, one also has to wear the protective Armor of God as discussed in the book of Ephesians 6:10-18 to ward off all types of attacks. God knows what we need even before we ask for anything. Through our prayers and spending time with Him, we can receive discernment and the knowledge to protect our spiritual garden to glorify His Name!

Spiritual Nurture

Ensuring our garden receives the proper nutrition is important so that we can grow with it. Keeping our Spiritual garden filled with the proper Fruits of the Spirit, we can accomplish anything with the Lord on our side. To tend to our Spiritual garden what do you need? I think patience is one because things may not grow or mature at our pace. We may abandon projects before we even give it enough time to sprout. You need to feed the garden, like you feed yourself and loved ones. We are not only speaking bread alone, as Jesus is the bread of life (John 6:35) and we must be fed spiritually. Spiritual fulfillment is necessary to remain in alignment with God. “The Lord stated, ‘my doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass” (Deuteronomy 32:2, KJV). Standing on God’s doctrine, the Bible, absorbing His speech, His Word, will sprinkle on us and nurture our Spiritual gardens with food and knowledge to stand upright and just as He.

Spiritual Insight

Reflecting upon our Spiritual garden, opposing forces will arise and try to damage the good fruits you are sewing. Standing still on the word of God, we know that victory is ours and He will protect our actions and bring others to justice. Seek God’s face, do His will, and protect your Spiritual garden. Give Him thanks and sing Songs of Praises while you are attending to His garden. When you awake in the morning thank God and continue throughout the day. We should all appreciate God’s Goodness and Mercy! God is Good and we are all under His eternal grace and mercy. God’s goodness and mercy are blessings. We should consider the meaning of Pulling Weeds, Planting Seeds to glorify our Lord in pursuing His will. How does that apply to our Spiritual garden? Just think if we take care of God’s Spiritual garden, God, Who is our Rock, follow Him, and not worry about distractors, we can claim the land, property, and everything that He has in store for us. Praise the Lord’s glorious grace!

Trust that the Lord is Your Rock

Isaiah 26:4 “Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal” (NIV).

When we put our trust in the Lord, Jesus Christ, we are telling God that we have given you our heart. We trust that you are guiding our lives and that Jesus died for our sins on the cross. We have faith that you reconciled Jesus to you and us to Him. By giving God our heart, His laws, His will for our lives, and peace will be ours forever. Jeremiah 31:33 states, “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people” (NIV). We must first turn to Him, invite His Holy Spirit into our lives and God will place us on solid ground; a Rock that will never break eternally.

We must do this without questioning God’s ways, which are perfect. Giving God our heart, in fullness, allows us to get the understanding of His Word and will for our lives. It allows His Spirit to operate in our lives. John 14:15-17 states, “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you” (NIV). Spending alone time with God and allowing The Holy Spirit to minister to us, comfort us, and be our intercessor will increase our personal relationship with God and understanding of His will. Jesus further stated in John 14:23-27, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (NIV). Amen!!!

Spiritual Garden

Genesis 9:16, “When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth” (ESV). Psalm 72:6, “May he be like rain that falls on the mown grass, like showers that water the earth!” (ESV).

Spiritual Garden

Maintaining our Spiritual garden to reflect the beauty of God’s creation is a daily process in our Christian discipleship journey. Proper maintenance of our Spiritual garden is necessary as we Pull Weeds and Plant Seeds that are threatening to ruin our plants. During daily process we may struggle, for all God’s children will experience trials as we mature spiritually on the road to Christian discipleship. Remember that we can do anything through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). We must spend time with God to seek His discernment in the way we should nurture the condition of our Spiritual garden. Are you pulling those weeds that are spreading like gangrene ruining your garden? Are you planting those seeds and nurturing it to its fruition? Even though you are proud of your Spiritual garden, do you think that God is equally proud of it? Do you honestly believe that as our Lord is looking at our Spiritual gardens that He will be pleased and say to us, His sons and daughters …job well done?

Spiritual Knowledge

Knowing that God loves us, we should praise His name as He did create us along with the heavens and the earth for us to live in. We must know that God’s creation is impeccable, His work is flawless! It is perfect! We must take care of what God has given us. In maintaining your Spiritual garden, stand in agreement that God deserves all the glory, honor, and He created the heavens and the earth. His work did not stop by only creating us but He also provides for us. He takes care of us, not only yesterday and today, but also for tomorrow and the future under His grace and mercy, His word is alive forever!

Spiritual Beauty

An excerpt from my book Uncertainties and Reasoning, the first paragraph on page 23 reads as follows, “Pluck, Pluck, Pluck! If it acts like a weed, looks like a weed, sways like a weed, it is a weed. Pluck it! The beauty of spiritual gardens should replicate the rainbow colors that reflect God’s promise to us. In the book of Genesis, God’s promise reveals He will not flood the earth again. After heavy rains, a beautiful rainbow illuminates the sky with its glowing, radiant colors. The Scripture reads “And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth” (Genesis 9:16 NIV).Amen. God’s words provide a clear purpose for His will for our lives.

God promised in His Word that He will not flood the earth again. The rainbow is a covenant and represents His promise to us. As we admire the beautiful rainbows in the sky, the covenant between God and every creature on earth, can we say that our Spiritual garden is as beautiful, or does it complement the purity of God’s word? After it rains, one can appreciate viewing the beautiful rainbows in the sky with all the pretty colors in it. The rainbow serves as an eternal reminder of His covenant and another symbol of His love for His children.

Spiritual Insight

God has done many things for us and shows us that He loves us in many ways. As we trust in God, we must fulfill our roles and allow Him to bless you at His will because He loves us. Seek God’s assistance in taking care of the Spiritual garden and cultivate those seeds to reflect the beauty of God’s creation. Ask God to reveal and identify to you those seeds that need additional watering to reflect the beauty of God’s creation to strengthen our actions to fulfill His purpose for our lives.  Just ask the Lord, how can I improve my spiritual garden? How can I use it to replicate the beauty of the rainbow? How can I please you more, God? How I can ensure I am your Disciple Jesus? Help me to rake my spiritual garden and remove those malicious weeds that are spreading like gangrene trying to ruin the growth of my spiritual garden. Let us engage in Thanksgiving, singing Songs of Praise and glorifying Your Name!

Spiritual Fruits

God knows our hearts and can see our spiritual garden clearly. As Disciples of Jesus Christ, we follow the Great Commission in Matthew 28 that Jesus gave us to GO and make Disciples. Before we start making disciples, we must ensure that our Spiritual garden contains the proper fruits to reflect the Glory of God! Galatians 5:22 reveals that “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” These seeds should be planted in our garden to enable us to bear the right fruit in accomplishing God’s will In cultivating and nurturing our Spiritual garden, we should ensure it is pleasing to our King, as He is just and we will all give Him an account of our lives one day. Seek God’s guidance as you pursue His will and plant the Fruits of the Spirit in your garden.

Spiritual Stewardship

WE should strive to be like God! We are stewards of our Spiritual garden. We are Kings, Queens, Princes, and Princesses of the Divine Spiritual garden that our Lord empowers us to maintain. As Ambassadors for Christ, spreading the Good News of the Gospel in the Christian discipleship process, we should be just like our heavenly Father. In tending to our Spiritual gardens, we must not discriminate in planting and nurturing seeds to reflect God’s glory. As we humble ourselves before our Lord, we must make wise decisions in supporting fruits that appear in our garden. As we cultivate and nurture our gardens, our hearts and minds must be in a humble state to make wise decisions in personal judgment as we keep God’s will first.

As stewards of God’s property, we should ask our Lord to grant us peace, justice on the land, on every mountain and hill, as we pray for fairness. We should ask God to help us to take care of our Spiritual garden to keep it beautiful! We should fear and respect God. He created the shining sun and the bright moon and out of reverence to our Father, we must respect Him. He even blesses us with rain showers that assist us with personal Spiritual growth as we tend to our gardens. God provides goodness everywhere. As our Spiritual garden reflects the beauty of God’s creation, His goodness and peace should be cultivated and nurtured in our midst. We should plant our Lord’s seeds in a loving manner. We should help others needing assistance in their Spiritual growth. Even those who may try to harm you or your Spiritual garden, God loves them the same. We should continue praising God’s glorious grace for His creation and blessings as we continue Pulling Weeds, Planting Seeds and worshipping His Name.

Spiritual Walk

As we continue our walk with Christ, many weeds will try to grow in our Spiritual garden to ruin or delay processes. We should pull those weeds by using biblical principles and God’s Words as reminders of how we should maintain the landscape of our Spiritual garden. Seek His face and guidance in maintaining our landscape a holy place. Though others may challenge your beliefs, we thank God for being our Almighty Father Who is willing to work with us in maintaining our spiritual stance as we protect our garden in the mighty name of Jesus.

We provide thanksgiving for our Creator. He gives us instructions on how to cultivate our Spiritual garden as we seek His face trying to emulate His ways. God loves us! His love is deeper than the deepest imaginable seas. Our Spiritual garden should reflect the beauty of the rainbow as that is the covenant He established with us in Genesis. Praise the Lord!!! Keep God first and foremost in your life and continue to engage in eternal Thanksgiving to our Lord while cultivating our Spiritual garden. We thank you Heavenly Father, we give you all the glory and honor you deserve! Blessings in the name of Jesus!
